The EA-18G Growler is an electronic attack aircraft. It is capable of disrupting, deceiving or denying a broad range of military electronic systems, including radars and communications.

This kit by Academy is of an American carrier based EA-18G aircraft and includes the option of Australian RAAF decals to label it as a unit in RAAF service.

12 EA-18G Growlers will be based at RAAF Base Amberley and operate in conjunction with our air, land and sea forces. Defence plans to achieve Initial Operational Capability (IOC) in 2018.

Growlers help to reduce the risk to our forces and improve their situational awareness. It can support a wide range of Defence tasks, from peacetime evacuations to major conflicts.
